Tom Wirth
Tom Wirth

Coach Tom was a gymnast for 8 years and competed for Addison Trail High School on two of their State Championship teams in 1985 and 1986.He has been coaching gymnastics since 1992, including both girls and boys teams at Addison Trail High School and the girls' team at Downers Grove South High School. Tom has been coaching at the club level since 2001 and started the current boys' team at St Charles Gymnastics which has included State, Regional, and National Qualifiers.

Coach Brian
Brian Lupo

Coach Brian has been involved in gymnastics since the age of ten. He competed at the high school level and was a member of the Illinois State Championship team in 1992. Brian graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with degrees in Theatre and Dance. He began coaching boy's competitive gymnastics in 2002 and continues to work with all the boy's levels. You can catch him coaching parent-tot, preschool, and kindergarten classes as well as boys and girls recreational classes. Brian is a professional member of the USA Gymnastics and is USAG safety certified. "Winning is not everything but wanting to win is." - Vince Lombardi.

Coach Ian
Ian Hunt

Coach Ian was born and raised in St Charles where he has lived his whole life. He first attended STCG at the age of four and continued to compete at various gyms in the area but was forced to stop due to injury. Ian is a three time national qualifier and also competed internationally. He has trained with Olympians John Roethlisberger and Paul and Morgan Hamm.

Coach Brian
Brian Kobylinski

Coach Brian "Koby" joins St. Charles Gymnastics Academy with a 21 year gymnastics career both as a competitor and coach. He competed for James B. Conant High-School, where he earned All-America honors as a runner-up in the 1989 High-School State Championships. After high-school, Brian continued his competitive career at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. As a co-captain of the team, Brian gained top honors as a Big-Ten and NCAA Regional Champion on the Still Rings. Additionally, he earned All-America honors with a 2nd place finish at the 1993 NCAA National Championships and was named to the prestigious list of Nissen Award finalists. Brian later went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and is now working as a partner with a management consulting firm. His strong passion for the sport comes through in his coaching style and his ability to work with gymnasts at all levels. Brian is a professional member of USA Gymnastics Organization and is USAG safety certified.
